He is a Specialist in results-oriented training, talent identification and development, competence based management, emotional intelligence, performance, recruitment and development. He has more than 27 years of experience in public institutions and private companies such as the National Employment Service and Grupo AGBAR Agua. He has served as human resources consultant for General Electric Plastic in Spain and as researcher and professor in different universities and business schools such as the University of Murcia, the National Distance Education University (UNED), the University of Alicante, Miguel Hernández University, ENAE Business School, Fundesem Business School, European Business School (EEN) and University of Catalonia (UOC).
Furthermore, José Manuel de Haro is the author of scientific and technical publications (articles and chapters of different books) about psicology and human resources in professional journals as Journal of Vocational Behaviour, Journal of Career Assessment, Annals of Psychology, International Journal of mentoring and Coaching, Revista de psicología del trabajo y de las organizaciones, Papeles del Colegio de Psicólogos, Capital humano, Training and development digest, Dirigir personas, Herramientas de coaching, Revista de Trabajo y Seguridad Social entre otras.
He is currently the Director of Personal Development of SUEZ Water Spain.
