DESCRIPTION

The Business Management course introduces participants to the general scope of the company, acquiring knowledge of the different areas within the company, such as Marketing Management or Human Resources Management. Assuming that the company is a whole and not individual independent links, the knowledge and, more importantly, the understanding of the other departments' work, is essential for the proper running and development of any organisation.

In addition to the areas that make up the company, participants will acquire the main knowledge about Strategic Management, one of the essential engines within the organisation and the one that determines the direction to be followed by all companies.

Management Skills is another key aspect that will also be covered in the Business Management course. We surround ourselves with people, and therefore, the development of aspects such as leadership or motivation, as well as learning techniques and tools to improve communication or teamwork, are essential in our daily lives.

  • Apply oral communication to a conflict scenario, in order to find negotiated solutions.

  • Organising efficient and goal-oriented meetings

  • Select business decisions that define the positioning of a company and can modify the presence and penetration in a market through the development of marketing strategies.

  • Interpreting the decisions of marketing mix elements through a tactical marketing plan.

  • Handle the main concepts related to business strategy as well as understand the strategic process.

  • Handle the main concepts related to direction and management of applied human resources.

  • Describe the main techniques of Human Resources as well as the essential management skills when dealing with people: motivation, leadership, teamwork and communication.
